Board Game: Tau Gak?

Together with Salsaparilla – Game Company – Savica designs, tests and manufactures board games and aims to dispel myths about fish and seafood consumption. In Indonesia, misinformation related to eating practices among pregnant women, infants and children is still one of the causes of nutritional problems such as stunting. Several studies have found that the lack of animal protein intake in these three groups is related to certain myths in society.

This board game is inspired by the game of ludo which can be played in groups, with rules and themes adapted to the Indonesian context. This method can be an approach to studying myths regarding fish and seafood consumption with a more fun atmosphere. This boardgame can be played in routine activities in the community such as routine health checks at the Community Health Center (Posyandu Terpadu/Posyandu).
