Savica provided technical assistance to CISDI for the development of a Social and Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC) strategy for its flagship program Pencerah Nusantara Puskesmas Ramah Inklusif dan Masyarakat Aktif (PN-PRIMA). The program, launched in January 2022, aims to strengthen the recovery process and COVID-19 pandemic preparedness in primary health services through inclusive community-based surveillance.
The SBCC strategy focuses on creating positive changes to increase coverage of COVID-19 vaccination in vulnerable groups and recovery of services for hypertension, diabetes and nutrition for pregnant women and children under five in primary health services. The strategy was developed using a systematic process starting with research to inform the strategic design, implementation, and evaluation. Savica is also involved in creating the communication, information and education materials and training the health workers and cadres prior to the strategy implementation, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the implementation.
