Evaluation of School-feeding program of WFP Cambodia

The Konterra Consortium, of which Savica is a member, holds a long-term agreement (LTA) with the World Food Programme for global evaluations. Savica provided the Team Manager (Baseline, 2020) and Team Leader (Mid-term, 2022 and Endline, 2023) for the evaluation of the McGovern-Dole supported WFP school feeding program in Cambodia.

This entailed extensive desk review, quantitative surveys (during the baseline and endline) as well as qualitative data collection using in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with various stakeholders. Because of COVID-19 pandemic-related travel restrictions, data collection for the baseline was done remotely, with national evaluators being able to do face to face interviews.

The schoolfeeding program was considered well implemented and the handover to a fully nationally owned schoolfeeding program was well underway. Evaluation reports of all three rounds were rated very good.
