The United Nations World Food Programme has gone through a major exercise evaluating their programmes in numerous countries in the world, through long-term agreements with a number of large international consulting firms. Savica’s principal joined the Konterra Group on an evaluation mission of WFP’s Protracted Relief and Recovery Operations (PRRO) in Afghanistan, as nutrition and food security expert.
This involved the preparation of a very thorough Inception Report, a three-week mission to Kabul and two provinces, and the writing of the Evaluation Report. The evaluation mission received very positive feedback from the WFP Afghanistan Country Office, who found the recommendations and guidance useful and applicable.
