Yayasan Project HOPE, with the support of USAID, commissioned a formative study to inform the development of a behaviour change communication strategy to promote Tuberculosis Prevention Therapy (TPT). The study aimed to assess barriers and supporting factors related to community access to TPT, health provision and promotion by health professionals and volunteers, communication channels/media, as well as local stakeholder support related to TPT services and promotion. Data were collected using qualitative methods such as in-depth inteviews and focus group discussions in 5 locations (Medan City, East Jakarta City, Sukabumi Regency, Jember Regency, and Makassar City). The results of this study were translated into recommendationis for the development of TPT communication strategies in Indonesia.
